Hello everyone, this is the first product review on the site. Many more to come. While searching for clothing pieces on Amazon, I found a two-pocket casual shirt that was heavily discounted. I own other high-quality shirts but thought of giving this a try. It was from an Amazon brand called Inkast Denim and my first time buying anything from the brand.
First Impressions
After getting my hands on the shirt I can say that the quality is very good for the price paid. It retailed for INR 2099 ($29) but I got it on a discount for 70% off. The quality was not worth paying the retail price though, there are way better options. It was a good deal after the 70% discount.
It is a two-pocket casual shirt made from 100% cotton and is a slim fit. It’s not very thick but will work well in the spring and even summers. The best thing I liked about the shirt is the military vibe it has.
I ordered a size small and talking about the fitting, it fits me well. The sleeves length and broadness of the shirt are fine but the length was a problem. For size small, it was 2 inches longer than what I expected but the shirt still looks fine on me. I’ll probably get it tailored.
My views on the shirt
The color of the shirt was exactly what I wanted and expected. It’s a faded beige that makes the shirt look rugged and masculine. Most of my other shirts are plaid flannels but I went for a two-pocket casual shirt this time. This shirt will look amazing when paired with any shades of blue denim. Also, a thick casual shirt is essential for the upcoming spring season.
Should you get it?
It’s a great casual pick up, only if there’s a good discount. However, I would recommend looking for alternatives at similar price points as the quality of the shirt is not the best. The shirt is a slim fit, go for a small if you’ve skinny athletic body type. If you’re muscular, go for sizes M and above.
