Quarantine. It’s still lockdown in most places around the world and we are inside our houses. So how to take care of yourself during this time? What should you be careful about?
How to pass the time.
Okay, you want to enjoy shows on Netflix and use social media, maybe you like gaming but doing these all day is definitely not good.
Instead, try to adopt new habits that will be good for your mind and body. You can read good books and novels if you have. Write about your goals and dreams in a journal. Learn new skills like cooking or drawing and maybe learn about improving your style and fashion.
Something that can be extremely beneficial for you is yoga and this is the right time to practice and learn different yoga styles and poses from the internet.
Exercising and home workouts are also beneficial for your body and for passing time.
What to do in your daily routine.
The number one thing is to not get depressed by what’s going on around and loneliness. Talk to your family members or whoever you are staying with or talk to your friends on the internet. Try to wake up early in the morning and the first thing to do after is drinking a litre of boiled or clean water to give an energetic start to your day. Eat healthy meals and skip any junk food so you maintain a good immunity and don’t gain any extra weight. Do wash your hands often throughout the day.
Try different hairstyles and see, maybe you’ll like a style other than your usual hairstyle. If the salons and barbershops are shut, you can try cutting your own hair or cut them with the help of your family members. Take care of your hair by shampooing and conditioning once or twice a week. We are staying indoors most of the time but we still have to wash our face and moisturize it daily.
Hydration is important for your body. Set a goal to drink enough water throughout the day (about a gallon or 4 litres is enough). Do home workouts and exercises to stay in shape during the quarantine.
